ANOTHER STORY FOR YOU

The yellow balloon

Should I get going now? The air fills with confidence, harshness is closing in, footsteps passing me by, a vague ignorance lingering. Your generosity and two cheeks instantly blushing. Another hopeless case. But you’ve probably learned how to forgive by now.

Taking time to think to myself, as my feet turn to stone. So it’s not my issue if you expect me to do the same thing that I expect from you. Nor if we are both aware of our alike thoughts. Nor if we avoid action and all costs. Breathing in, breathing out. I wonder if the disappointment of one towards the other is unavoidable. The other being in fact the self. The self ostentatiously ignoring the harsh self-loathing.

Should I let you go then? To help me decide there is the huge yellow balloon in my heart. It’s filled with hellion, I let it go and it gains height quickly surpassing the tallest buildings of the town. Quickly it becomes a dot, quickly I cannot see it. In my imagination its track continues until it reaches the sun. Because that’s why I created it: so it could reach the sun. So it gets close enough and -KABOOM- it explodes! So the balloon is gone forever. As steady as the sun is a cowardly figure against the wall. And I guess another's heart resembles the balloon : definitely broken and missing a lot of pieces.

A heartbeat brings me back. There we are. Us and our fragile egos already hurt. With an ending for the story yet to come. Someone drinks from a glass of wine and leaves it near me on the floor..And I stare at it for long, lose myself in the thoughts eventually, trying to figure out, to discern if the glass is half full or if it is half empty.

Anything that will keep the ending from the story is welcome, I guess...

-ένα κείμενο που είχα γράψει πριν από 2 μήνες, χωρίς συγκεκριμένο σκηνικό στο μυαλό μου και με αρκετά ανάκατες σκέψεις σίγουρα!ο καθένας καταλαβαίνει αυτό που θέλει...multiple readings που λέμε και στη σχολή!α, είναι αγγλικά γιατί όταν το έγραφα σκεφτόμουν στα αγγλικά, το οποίο είναι πολύ σύνηθες φαινόμενο τα τελευταία χρόνια!

-ΚΑΛΟ ΔΕΚΕΜΒΡΗ ΝΑ ΕΧΟΥΜΕ ΚΑΙ ΓΙΟΡΤΙΝΟ ΠΑΝΩ ΑΠΟ ΟΛΑ!!!!!!
